Ship conversion and newbuilding activities of Remontowa S.A. are supported by in-house design office. The company also implements ship designs of its subsidiary NED - Naval Engineering & Design NED Ltd and has a long-standing tradition of co-operation with renowned external ship designers and consultants, such as Vik Sandvik or Ulstein Design.

The in-house Design Office is a part of Remontowa S.A. and was formed in 1997 by a group of naval architects and marine engineers with extensive experience in the design of vessels.
The objectives of the Remontowa Design Office are to:
      - Provide the highest standard of design for conversions and new buildings
      - Provide first class consultancy services in the field of naval architecture and marine engineering.
These objectives have been achieved by recruiting highly qualified and experienced staff and by utilizing modern software and computer facilities.
Remontowa Design Office has a vision and continued focus on providing customers with perfect solution in designing vessels that are ideally suited to operational requirements and fully comply with their needs and desires. This is achieved by a frequent and comprehensive communication with our customers from early stage of design until delivery of the "as built" documentation.
The Design Office consists of: Hull Outfitting Department, Machinery Department and Electrical Department.
