"Volda" & "Eira" - Passanger/Car Ferries

In 2001/2002 we were designing two ferries for More og Romsdal Fylkesbatar A/S from Norway. They are sisterships 87.6 m long, 16.4 m wide and 5.35 m high. Each of them can take 300 passengers and 85 cars. More og Romsdal Fylkesbatar A/S is a valuable partner for us. He administers the fleet which is composed of 140 different vessels and he has exclusive rights to operate by his ferries road connections in More og Romsdal region in Norway.

The vessels build for our Norwegian client are modern car-passenger ferries. Each of them could take on his board 85 cars or 8.50 tons trailers and 36 cars. Remontowa Design Office in accordance with the rules and requirement of Norwegian Classification Society Det Norske Veritas designed the vessels, their propulsion and systems.
