HATCH COVERS & TWEENDECK

Hatch No 2: TTS hydraulic multifolding type, 4 covers stowed to aft / 4 to forward.

Tweendeck: TTS panels system lift-on / lift-off type, for non-sequential operation in hold No 2 only. The tweendeck panels can be fitted at 4.7 and 6.0 m above tank top.  4 panels suitable to erect 2 grain bulkheads (in three locations).

Panels can be stowed in the aft part of hold No 2 or on main deck in front of deckhouse.

 

SERVICE SPEED

15.0 knots under conditions:  sea up to 2 and wind not exceeding Beaufort 2 on design draught 6.6 m, clean hull.

 

PROPULSION SYSTEM

Main engine MAK 9M32C diesel type of 4320 kW at 600 rpm, main gear with PTO 720 kW / 450 V / 60 Hz / 1800 rpm, flexible couplings between ME / gear and gear / shaft generator.

All cargo operations to be subject to stability information.

 

DECK EQUIPMENT

The Panama and Suez Canal Rules fulfilled.

The St. Lawrance Seaway Regulations and Australia Authority requirements fulfilled.

32 reefer container sockets on deck, 3 × 440V, 60Hz, 3 o’clock type, but no connection cables on board.
