Heavy lift vessel converted at Remontowa SA working at good charter rates

Willift Eagle, managed by Offshore Heavy Transport AS and owned by Awilco Heavy Transport, the first of the two semi-submersible heavy-lift vessels converted at Remontowa SA from oil tankers, has successfully picked up its first cargo of two jack-up rigs to be transported from the US Gulf to the Middle East.

Another conversion order from Finnlines

Remontowa SA is ready to undertake yet another conversion of two ro-ro vessels, in which area the company has gained considerable experience over the recent years on repairs, upgrading and conversions of ro-ro ferries as well as the construction of new vessels of this type. Meanwhile, Remontowa has recently acquired another order from the same Finnish owner.

Passenger ferries lengthened

Two ferries Sarpik Ittuk and Sarfaq Ittuk were lengthened for Arctic Umiaq Line A/S, Nuuk, Greenland in 1999. Both were cut through and fitted with new part. Design Office made all necessary documents to rebuild hull, piping and electricity systems on vessel.
